March 10 and 11, 9 AM - 4 PM
Join Greg Strong for an exciting weekend dedicated to making you a better handler! This information packed seminar will cover all aspects of showing a dog. Beginner and intermediate handlers will greatly benefit from Greg's vast knowledge of the show dog world while seasoned exhibitors can gain valuable insight into the finer points of handling.

Carrie Jones' Agilty Handling Seminar Feb 4-5, 2012
Carrie Jones has been training and competing in agility since 1998. She has successfully competed with three dogs-Tango (JRT),Twist (JRT), and Jive (BC), and all of her dogs have earned their MACH and ADCH titles. At USDAA Nationals, she has been a finalist in Steeplechase and /or grand Prix(2003,2004,2007,2008,2009,2010) as well as winning the Team Championship in 2007. At AKC Nationals, she and her dogs have made multiple appearances in the finals and/or challengers round (2002,2003,2006,2007,2008,2009,2011), and was crowned the 2008 AKC 24" National Champion. She is a three-time AKC?USA World Team member. She and Jive won a silver medal at the FCI Agility World Championships in Norway on the US Large Dog Team, as well as finishing 6th overall in the Individual Large division. She has represented the AKC at Crufts where she and Jive won the final agility round.
Saturday, February 4, 2012– 9:00 a.m. to 12:30p.m. - Novice/Open Handling Skills
Work on lateral and forward sends. Serpentines –
crosses, front, rear and pinwheels, sequences will be used to work on these skills.
Saturday, February 4, 2012– 1:30 p.m. to 5:00p.m. - Contacts and Weaves
Improve your contacts and weaves.
Carrie will give suggestions and help improve your existing contacts.
Dogs must be doing full height contacts and 6 weaves.
This seminar is appropriate for all levels
Sunday, February 5, 2012 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Masters/Excellent Handling
Dogs competing in USDAA Masters or AKC Excellent Standard. Challenging sequences and courses for the Masters/Excellent level dog and handler team. Emphasis on course analysis, ways to stay with or ahead of your dog, obstacle discrimination, consistent handling, and most importantly keeping your dog motivated!

Daisy Peel's Seminar/Workshop Mar 3-4, 2012
Daisy Peel is an 18-time National Finalist, four-time National Champion, a three-time FCI World Team Member, and a 3-time Americas & Caribbean International Champion. In 2010, she placed 3rd in Individual Standard and 6th overall in Individual Competition with Solar at the FCI World Championships in Germany. Daisy won the National Championships with Jester in 2007 (AKC) and Solar in 2009 (USDAA) and 2010 (AKC and USDAA). Daisy is well-known for her intense running style, positive attitude and focus, attention t both technical and mental aspects of the game, and exceptional running contacts
Excellent/Masters: Analyzing and discussing the courses with International challenges to find the appropriate handling skills needed for the course at hand. Handling skills will include, front, rear and blind crosses. Participant must be showing at Masters/Excellent level handling skills. Dogs must have complete knowledge of all
obstacles. Limited to 10 working spaces. Unlimited Audit spaces
Open Workshop: Open level sequences focusing on refining handling skills and obstacle performance to make a more efficient and effective team. Handler must be at least at the AKC Open or USDAA Advanced level and able to run full courses. Dogs must be proficient on all obstacles (this will not be a how to train obstacle workshop, but how to improve what exists where needed. Limited to 8 working spaces Unlimited Audit spaces
Contacts Workshop: this will cover running contacts as well as two off plus more. Focus will be on training running contacts and/ or improving the performance of it. Two on two off behavior will be enhanced based on the behavior trained. Limited to 8 working spaces Unlimited Audit spaces.

Excellent/Masters: Course work with "emphasis on predicting and guiding the dog's line of travel through the course" Skills that will be worked on include front and rear crosses and blind crosses. Handlers and dogs must be at the Master or Excellent level with proficient of all obstacles. This is a handling seminar; obstacle skills will not be addressed. Limited to 10 working spaces. Unlimited Audit spaces.
Open Workshop: Sequences at the open and advanced level for handlers wanting to improve course decisions, which cross is appropriate when and where. Sequences will vary from 5-20 obstacles. All dogs must be proficient in All obstacles and ready to work. Handlers and dogs must be at least at the Open and/or advanced levels. This is a Limited to 8 working spaces Unlimited Audit spaces
Novice Workshop: Is your contact behavior slow? Weave pole problems, entries or popping? Jumping
issues, lots of knocked bars? This workshop will cover all these categories and provide the skills needed to
resolve these problems. Dogs will need to have knowledge of all agility equipment and competing at the
Novice level or young dogs with experienced handlers. Dogs must be under control and willing to work.

About Judy Gamet, BS Dance Education: Judy is the owner of Dogs Can Dance, LLC. She has handled in the sports of freestyle, traditional obedience, rally obedience, tracking, Schutzhund, and conformation. She appears in Doggie Boogie, the Movie, and has the credit of dog dance choreographer for the film. Dogs Can Dance features the first instructor manuals for the sport of freestyle. Judy continues to travel North America, sharing her unique approach to freestyle as seen through a dog's eyes

These are 'working' seminars that will include lots of individual attention.
Saturday July 14
Novice Handling Skills: 9am-12:30pm
This workshop is geared toward teams that are already competing or are ready to begin competing at the Novice level. Dogs MUST be proficient on ALL equipment. Stuart will
help you improve handler / obstacle focus skills through a series of challenging sequences.
Open Handling Skills: 1:30pm-5:00pm
This workshop will work with handlers & their dogs to improve performance & handling abilities. It will also cover all aspects of agility… perfect for improving those scores!
