at Border Collie Nationals in St. Louis, November 2004.

ABOUT
OUR BREED HANDLING CLASSES:
These classes are designed to prepare both handler and
dog for competing in the conformation ring. Dogs learn
how to "stack" (stand correctly and show off
their lines) for the judge, and the correct "gaits"
(moving correctly). Dog and handler practice the typical
patterns called by competition judges.
Bon-Clyde
Breed Handling classes meet in conjunction with our
regular class schedule. Handlers
should bring health records for dogs when attending
the Breed Handling classes for the first time.
Breed
Handling classes meet on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm and Wednesdays
at 12:30 pm. There will be no Breed Handling classes
on the following dates for 2007:
June 19-20
June 26-27
July 3-4
August 28-29
September 4-5
About
the picture above: Judge Edna "Katie"
Gammill, on Best of Breed Ch. Brackenhill Starr of Bon-Clyde:
"She is a split-faced bitch with an inquisitive
eye, good head proportions, sweet face, and dark pigmentation.
Her hard muscle tone and conditioning, layback of shoulder,
forward thrust of head and smooth graceful movement
exemplified the true Border Collie. She was a winner
from all directions and took charge of the ring."
