Bon-Clyde offers all levels
of Agility classes as well as frequent seminars with
top agility trainers and competitors such as Stacy Peardot-Goudy,
Rhonda Carter, Sharon Nelson, Julie Daniels, Stuart
Mah and Pati Hatfield Mah. Our 10,000 square-foot Agility
Center has special flooring and all the latest equipment.

PREPARING
FOR AGILITY COMPETITION - Learn how to handle those
challenging sequences; work on obstacle discriminations,
and much more. This class is for dogs have a good foundation
on all equipment, and are able to work 3-7 obstacle
sequences. This class is designed to improve handler/dog
relationship in preparation for competition.
COMPETITION AGILITY
- Two levels
These competition-level classes are geared to handlers
competing with their dogs.
Competition Agility
I
This competition level class is geared towards handlers
who are competing in Novice or Open with their dogs.
Participants will work on successfully handling difficult
courses, problem-solving, and improving handling strategies
and techniques.
Competition Agility
II
This competition level class is geared towards handlers
who are competing in Excellent, Elite, or Masters with
their dogs. Participants will work on successfully handling
difficult courses, problem-solving, and improving handling
strategies and techniques.
INTERMEDIATE SKILLS:
Gain more focus and attention
from your dog! Learn how to train your dog for Canine
Good Citizen (CGC) or Therapy Dog (TDI) certification.
Dogs and their handlers will continue work started in
the Beginner skills class. Emphasis will be placed on
helping your dog learn control, developing relationships,
and improving existing skills. Dogs will be introduced
to agility, acting, freestyle, and the intermediate
skills needed for entry to agility and advanced level
classes.
INTRO
TO AGILITY OBSTACLES - This class is for dogs who
have completed a course in basic obedience and Intermediate
Beginner / Pre-Agility, or with prior approval. Dogs
must know the commands: sit, down, stay, and come with
distractions, as well as have on and off lead control.
Dogs and handlers will learn how to safely execute the
obstacles required to compete in the sport of Agility
and practice skills necessary for entering advanced
classes.
INDEPENDENT
WORK - AGILITY: All dogs must have prior agility experience before
participating in independent work. This is “open” time
that the handler may use to practice agility techniques.
